Meter to Cash — the IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities billing, invoicing, receivables and collections chain — is one of the areas where SAP customers can move the product roadmap directly, through SAP Customer Influence. Voting is open to any customer with an S-user login, and requests with visible customer demand behind them are the ones that get attention. This page collects the Meter to Cash influence requests our community is backing so they are in one place rather than scattered across email.
The community call — clean core for Meter to Cash
Each of these requests for our utility M2C addresses a gap that most North American utilities close today with a customisation. Getting them into standard is what makes a clean core realistic on an S/4 journey, and upvotes from multiple named utilities are what move a request forward.
Meter to Cash requests open for votes
There are 6 requests below, grouped by the part of the Meter to Cash chain they affect. Each links straight to the request in SAP Customer Influence; you will need your SAP S-user login to vote.
Payment arrangements and prepayment
- Promise-to-pay more than open receivable balance — allow a promise-to-pay arrangement to be created for an amount greater than the currently open receivable, so future charges can be folded into a single arrangement without a workaround — Influence 380870
- Prepayment auto-recharge feature — support automatic recharge of a prepay account when the balance falls below a threshold, in standard rather than as a bolt-on — Influence 380871
Receivables, dunning and collections
- Dunning and receivable adjustment integration — integrate receivable adjustments with the dunning process so an adjustment is reflected in the dunning position rather than leaving the two out of step — Influence 380810
- LPC lock in standard — provide a standard means of locking late payment charges for an account or a period, instead of each utility building its own — Influence 380813
Deposits
- Deposit release by address and org details — allow deposit release to be driven by address and organisational detail, supporting the release rules utilities actually operate under — Influence 381499
Performance
- Large accounts performance — address performance on large, high-volume accounts, where the standard processing path does not scale to the account sizes utilities carry — Influence 381045

How to vote
- Follow any link above — it opens the request in SAP Customer Influence.
- Sign in with your SAP S-user login.
- Use the vote control on the request, and add a comment describing your own use case. A comment from a named utility carries more weight with product management than a vote alone.
If your organisation has submitted Meter to Cash influence requests you would like listed here, reply to any Utility.Community email and we will add them.
